Advantages: A few really good song; Great singing; Amazing piano solos Disadvantages: Some boring songs; A lot of intrumental songs
...This was the first album I'd bought by Peggy Lee, after hearing a few of her songs from the internet, and I was quite impressed.
It may just be my taste, but in my opinion quite a lot of the songs are dull, and I almost always skip the instrumentals.
Peggy Lee is brilliant, as usual, and GeorgeShearing is enough to make you want to take up Piano.
The album's best songs have to be -
2: I Lost My Sugar In Salt Lake City
7: Blue Prelude
8. You Came A Long Way From St Louis
9: Always True To You In My Fashion
11: Get Out Of Town (has an AMAZING piano solo)
13: Nobody's Heart
Some of the songs take a while to get into, but you probably won't regret buying this album....

Advantages: Great Lyrics, great story telling, excellent production Disadvantages: Interlude track of BIG having sex
...when he was releasing tracks with local groups The OldGold Brothers and the Techniques. Legend has it BIG never made these with any intention to make a career from it but he was received so well he followed through on the rapping to become a very successful artist.
The album cover is a baby with an afro sitting down with a white background, while inside is a mixture of pictures of the baby, BIG, and the usual album thanks and production notes.
The Album
(Sampling information taken from Wikipedia)
Track 1 - Intro
The intro is basically someone having a baby symbolising BIG's birth, with Puff daddy doing the voice for the expectant father, followed by several clips of some great songs interrupted by people arguing about the raising of their son.
Samples
"Superfly" by Curtis Mayfield
"Rapper's Delight" by Sugarhill Gang...

Advantages: Some good modern songs. Disadvantages: Not as good as previous albums.
...I approached this album with an open mind, as I've been a follower of all things Deep Dish since I was introduced to them in the Renaissance arena at Ministry of Sound at Knebworth. They were immense that night, and my purchase of Yoshiesque 1 & 2 that followed was nothing less than a life-shaping experience, influencing the direction my musical tastes take even now. I've also been pleased with the Global Underground mixes. I bought Junk Science, their first full album, and I have to say that I was disappointed. Apart from 'Mohammed Is Jesus' and 'The Future of the Future', both of which I had already heard, loved and played ad infinitum, the album was for want of a better word wishy-washy.
...and that brings me to the tracks on this album. The first time I heard 'Flashdance' was (unashamedly) when I downloaded a low quality promo...
