Additional notes
Album Notes: This 22 track collection brings together America's most popular recordings and includes material which was produced by George Martin. Their 70's country-tinged soft rock sound has often been compared to Crosby Stills Nash & Young. The no.1 single 'A Horse With No Name' is included.
Advantages: Great rock in the '70s live tradition. Disadvantages: Derivative sound.
..."You wanted the best, and you got the best; the hottest band in the world - KISS!!!" So begins this '70s live double-LP, a 100% rock extravanganza in all senses of the word. Kiss were huge in America at this time and they had the stage show to prove it; smoke-bombs, drum-risers, huge towers of speakers, fire-breathing demons, and even ritual blood-splattering of the audience! But Kiss didn't forget the music either - the sixteen tracks on here are all gems; "Deuce" and "Strutter" begin the concert with energy and gusto, the heat is turned up with "Firehouse", before the obligatory audience participation of "100,000 Years" and finally ending with the exuberant "Let Me Go, Rock 'N' Roll".......

...Demons and Wizards
No, this isn't the title of a Role-Playing Game! This album and it's successor are the twin high points of the David Byron years. It was the first album to feature the rhythm section of Lee Kerslake and the late Gary Thain, generally reckoned to be definitive Heep lineup. Both the title and the Roger Dean cover match the fantasy theme of the lyrics.
In this album you can find such higlights as 'Easy livin'(May be the most famouse Uriah Heep song in America).Beautiful 'Rainbow demon' and 'Traveller in time' with fantasy lirics. And trully
musterpiece 'Paradise/The spell'-as for me the best Uriah Heep song and Best rock song ever. And don't forget about incredible 'The Wizard'....

Advantages: Some Well Crafted Pieces Disadvantages: Not Hit Making Material
...This album was to be featured in a musical film about a child experiences in the after life but the project failed to get financial backing. This album is therefore disjointed and isn’t one of Tulls best pieces although the single for “Bungle In The Jungle” did become a hit in America. The album recording features a full orchestra but with saxaphone playing featuring heavily in the final mix. This is a great pity as the concept behind the album was original back then. All the songs on this album seem to lack the sophistication of Tulls other albums. Also the album is much more darker and broodier than its predecessors....
