The Voranova hotel was about half an hour from the airport and cost about 25euros, split between two, so wasn't too bad as the hotel transfer coach you could also book cost as much together and took about 2 hours stopping at every hotel that existed!
The hotel was in a good location, a few minutes walking distance from Palma Nova town centre and the beach. It was also about 10-15minutes walk to the centre of Magaluf. We got a bus to Palma City one day and this took about 45 minutes and was very crowded.
Just across the road from the hotel was a large supermarket and several shops including a pharmacy, there was also a taxi rank and bus stop.
The hotel being in Palma Nova rather than Magaluf was good as it wasn't too noisy and busy at night. There were plenty of small bars and resturants in Palma Nova. The hotel also had ...

BACKUP - The word that everyone in the IT community hates. Whether it be because you 'really should be looking into getting' a backup system, or are cussing because you *haven't* got a backup system, and it's too late!
Now I'm hoping that the reason you're reading this is not because of the latter, but rather because you're worried because you haven't got any backup system in place and don't want to loose any work.
This opinion is based on my experiences of installing and using NovaBack+ at work. The version of NovaBack+ we use is 6.60 and is installed on a PIII 600 machine with 128mb of RAM and Windows 95. The backup drive was an HP SureStore DLT80. Although it should work with a lot lower spec.

Advantages: Easy to use, packs away and no mess. Disadvantages: Nothing other than a large are required.
Our daughter got married August this year, and as they where having just our grandson at the wedding we were wondering what to do to keep a busy 4 year old boy amused. Whilst shopping in John Lewis I came across the Pop up Book of all Pop up Books. Commander Nova?s Pop Up Alien Space Station by Nick Denchfield & Steve Cox.
I was not expecting to find inside what I did find.
The front cover, hard back, shows a picture of a Space Station with smaller rockets leaving the Space Station, and there is a lot of colour and movement in the cover.
Untie the silver ribbon on the side and open up the book, but make sure you have plenty of space?????you will need it, the book is 13? x 10? and so you require an area of 88? circumference.
This is a space station, which will keep any child and any adult happy for hours on end.
