...'s voice becomes a deep velvet brown on this track, which sadly tugs at the heart strings all the more. "Lately" has a great catchy hook that makes it stick around in your brain long after you've finished listening. Maddening, but I guess that's the measure of a good song. Listen out for the great harmonica playing in "Who Pays The Price". Charlie Musselwhite. Good man, Charlie! Very sultry sound, with a little more effort it could've been a great blues track. Still, it's fine at it is on here. Back to the niceness of 80's rock sounds with "Know The Difference". The beat is similar to other tracks on here, but isn't exploited as well. You can tell how much better this record would have been if Michael had been able to vocally let rip a bit more. Very professional and polished, "Bitter Tears" is a good rocking track. ...Delta Goodrems Album Innocent Eyes is fantastic. I love Delta's singing voice and the lyrics to the songs are fabulous. ...Delta Goodrem's Innocent Eyes album is fantastic. This is her first album and she released this in 2003. This album is full of ballads and is fantastic for the soppy hearted!! "Doing everything that I believe in" Born To Try is Delta's debut single and is written by Delta. This song is an upbeat ballad and is about the trials in life - they get you down and they also lift you up. Delta will not give in to the trials that get her down. Delta Goodrem said she wasn't born to win but she wasn't born to lose either and will give life her best shot!
