...First thing I have to say - great album, terrible name! That's right, yet again the band have produced an absolutely phenomenal album of Punk Rock glory. The Descendents have always made fine, fine music and of course this album is no exception - catchy Punk Rock anthems make this band special and that's why we all have a special place in our hearts for them. Seriously, this band are at the top of their game at what they do and because of this very fact, every release with them is really something special. With new album 'Cool To Be You' we see the band crack out 14 more cracking Punk Rock anthems which are set to put a smile on the faces of Punks across the world. Advantages: Full-length versions of classics, empowering, intelligent, good natured.
Disadvantages: Old School, dumbed down lyrics occasionally, very rough around the edges

Well we are told about prostitution being a fact of life in the Ghetto, butwe never ever hear the terms "b*tches" or "hoes". However, some of the verses on "Miami Vice" give perhaps the first description in Rap of a woman as a manipulative gold digger.
