I’ve always wanted to be on DesertIslandDiscs, firstly to play my songs and secondly to be so rich and famous and intelligent that they’d want me on. So maybe if I put my 8 songs here, together with my book and luxury item then one day I’ll be on! I'm not exactly reviewing the programme here, but you can tell I love it! And since no one else has yet reviewed it I'm taking Artistic Licence.

Advantages: Sun, sea and excitment/relaxation? Disadvantages: Won't know till I've tried it!
To cheer myself up on a January day I thought I would try a review for this desertisland category.
I guess being stranded on a desertisland means sun and sand, but none of the luxuries most of us like on holiday, and worst of all no companion. Well that?s how in was for Tom Hanks in Castaway, but perhaps I would find a friendly native, hopefully a fit and healthy hunk. Well I can dream, can?t I?
I have thought about what I would take with me and this is what I have come up with.
I have left out music as I am hoping the birds would sing to me and that I could make some musical instruments of my own from things I could find on the island. For a human voice I would have my own, and nobody to say, ?Can you whistle . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . cos you can?t sing!?
