I’ve always wanted to be on DesertIslandDiscs, firstly to play my songs and secondly to be so rich and famous and intelligent that they’d want me on. Now you might think that this was something that I really wouldnt need,but I dont see it that way at all.My singing is bad at the best of times but it is even worse when I dont have any background music to drown out the notes that dont quite make it to the pitch they are supposed to.....now picture me,stuck on my island, singing away, completely off key.If you were paddling by in you canoe and heard the noise and saw a loony woman, mouth open wailing like a Banshee Would you pull in and pick me up? No you wouldn't, you would paddle past as fast as you could,so you see I have to have my music, something groovy ...
