Advantages: Good premise Disadvantages: Lack of elaborate deaths, no imaginative plot like others, doesn't live up to the hype
and ultimately the crash but there was nothing. There was one thing that led to the crash and that was just an accident, there was nothing out of the ordinary and the fact that it led to such a horrific accident was simply implausible.
The deaths subsequent to the crash are again very lacklustre, after being a little disappointed with Final Destination 3 I?d happily watch that a million times for it?s inventiveness and implausibility which somehow makes it plausible. This film appears to have just been made to make money from the success of the previous three films. This is bound to be a big money maker but I doubt that there will be anymore sequels after this disappointing effort.
It was the inventiveness that made these films so successful, it relies on that and that alone, without the imaginative nature of the death scenes this simply isn ...
Advantages: good kids fun Disadvantages: A bit dated
The Tomorrow People 6.
I remembered the earlier shows, probably from 1973 when it first aired through to 1979 when it initially ended. Watching it again on DVD was very very enjoyable
and to be honest quite refreshing. It was at the time an imaginative program and held a 70's quaintness.
Remembered nothing of the second incarnation of the show, 1992 - 1995 and again nothing of the third reinvented show from 2001 - 2007.
You follow some rare talented humans as they 'Break out' and change from normal humans to the next stage in human evolution. They have abilities such as telepathy, telekinesis, and teleportation.
They have adventures inventing new technologies and fighting evil villains on this planet and from other galaxies.
There are a few surprises along the way.

Advantages: A taut thriller with loads of scares Disadvantages: The cast are nothing more than adequate
Taking the horror genre to a whole new premise, Final Destination introduces the villain as Death itself. Devon Sawa stars as Alex, a high school student who is preparing to go to Paris on a field trip with his class. From the opening credits, all the signs point towards something sinister. And as Alex gets on the plane, he finds himself thrust into a mid air explosion. Moments later though, he wakes up and discovers that it was nothing more than a dream. However, convinced it was more like a premonition, he and a handful of students get into a brawl and are thrown off the plane. As they are rounded up in the departure lounge, they watch in horror as his premonition is realised and the plane explodes moments after taking off. The police are instantly convinced that Alex must be part of some conspiracy to blow the plane up, and as ...
