Advantages: Scores very fast, keeping has improved, fitness Disadvantages: Poor captaincy, tries to take on too much at once
So, Alec Stewart has - finally - been exonerated by Paul Condon's corruption investigation, for want of any real evidence against him; an unsurprising, indeed inevitable, outcome given the unwillingness of Indian bookmaker MK Gupta to come forward. Of course, it could well be argued that Stewart's less than co-operative attitude toward Lord Condon's team leaves the player with only himself to blame for the interminable slowness of proceedings. But let us emerge from such murky waters, and concern ourselves with Stewart's performances on the pitch.
Most judges would concede that Alec Stewart has not been the best wicket-keeper in England for much, perhaps all, of his Test career - Jack Russell probably holds that distinction. Yet such has been the desire, almost the obsession, from the ECB (and the TCCB before it) for an all ...

Discovery
As far as music goes, I love it all, I always find my taste varying as I discover new artists, I love rock, pop, hip hop, old and new, everything.
Empire of the Sun is something really different. I discovered them about three or four months ago when one of the songs was played on the radio and I was desperate to hear more.
I could not find out who they were and eventually the tune faded from my head, when I then stumbled across the song again I remembered as many words a possible and Googled the lyrics, found out who they were and bought their album from Amazon.
Who are they?
Empire of the Sun are an Australian duo who formed in 2007 but have only recently started coming out of the woodwork in Britain with some of their songs being played on the radio waves, and also more and more regularly their songs are ...
Advantages: Great addition to any CD collection Disadvantages: Does not live up to the hype their first album produced
It has been a long time since I wrote review so I hope this goes alight. Lets just cut to the chase. I thought I would hark back to one of my favourite type of reviews, the album review.
Since I last lurked the halls of Ciao I have become interested in the new wave of bands. The likes of The Feeling, Keane and Scissor Sisters are reviews that I no doubt will do in the coming months but for this review Kasabian's latest offering Empire will provide the viewer with written joy.
~ Brief history ~
Kasabian first hit the big time with the album Kasabian (wonder how long it took to think that up) released September 2004 and is the bands first general release album. The singles Reason is Treason, Club Foot, L.S.F (Lost Souls Forever), Processed beast and Cutt Off may be familiar to some. It is because of the music being used in ...

Album Notes
Legend has it that Atari Teenage Riot's Alec Empire made this record on a dare, but when he was done, he was afraid it would be too extreme to listen to. And for some people, it will be. But others will crave it. It's like the exhilarating blast of a triple-espresso. THE DESTROYER is full of super-fast breakbeats, with virtually every sound distorted. Picture a drum-machine with no sense of propriety, bulldozing it's way through a Marshall stack. It's "drum-and-bass"' gone to hell and returning victorious. It's the sound of the walls of Jericho thundering down. If "industrial" is the sound of claustrophobic tension, "digital hardcore" is the liberating explosion of freedom. This is a NEVER MIND THE BOLLOCKS for the 21st century, and therefore absolutely essential.
