I could not, even if I tried, write anything negative about this double CD featuring AaronNeville.
This man's voice is phenomenal and wonderfully unique.
He is originally from New Orleans and has a wonderful New Orleans Rhythm and Blues sound. His voice will reach your inner being every time he opens his mouth and a note comes out!
There is a wide spectrum throughout this particular collection. We have the up-tempo and foot-tapping beat of 'Oh happy Day' & 'I saw the light' to the sultry, moody sound of 'Ave Maria' and 'Amazing grace.'

Advantages: IMO Depeche Mode's best live DVD to date: a fantastic performance & wonderfully reworked songs. Disadvantages: Can't really think of any!
). The DVD features are good, and only increase the 'value for money' factor; remastered music videos, tour projections, and an MTV Rockumentary that includes interviews with all band members. But really, the performance alone is worth the price, I reckon. So, if you like Depeche Mode, I strongly recommend you go and buy it (and if you don't, this may well convert you!).

This stylish and reasonably priced DVD player from Cambridge Audio retails for approx £150. For a DVD player with HDMI (Digital) out, that is one of the more reasonable priced models on the market at the moment.
The player will take a moment to recognise disks, but once it has found which format the disk is, I have found playback to be flawless. It can play normal DVDs (PAL), also DVDs from the USA (NTSC) and DIVX encoded video. Although I have not tried it, it can apparently play disks with mp3 music on them.
If you need to set the unit up beyond just plugging in cables, then the basic on screen configuration is straightforward.
You will need to refer to the manual for the advanced configuration of the unit (if you have a complicated or non-standard HiFi setup). Just connecting this unit up in the most obvious manner - SCART ...

At the risk of belaboring the obvious, Aaron Neville has one of the most affecting and instantly identifiable voices in all of pop music; he's the kind of artist commonly referred to as a phenomenon. When he applies that unique, transcendent quaver of his to an album of spiritual tunes, it's hard to resist or deny the inherent emotional power. The aptly titled DEVOTION finds Neville tackling everything from traditional gospel tunes ("Mary Don't You Weep") to faith-centered but funky originals ("Jesus is a Friend of Mine") and spiritually oriented pop classics (Simon & Garfunkel's "Bridge Over Troubled Water").
