...i thought that this cd was outstanding. i absolutely love u.srinivas' music and am a huge fan. his style of playing and nuances are truly unique. Zakir hussain is such a brilliant precussionist and is so well established that anything besides perfection can not be expected. i find these two so brilliant and talented that even i get jelous! ;) Then i absolutely love Vikku Vinayakram on south indian precussion. he is so immensly talented and has such a talent for complicated technical and mathematical cycles and rhythmic improvisation. johnmc.laughin however, does not play to my taste and does not fulfill the wishes i would have from him. i find him too uncomprimising and after u srinivas has played i always forward johns bits. im sorry to say that but i dont really feel his vibes and emotion through his playing. apart from...

...I’d never heard of Sarah McLaughlin before a friend of introduced us… (sounds good doesn’t it? – I’m talking about the album however)…this is chill out/emotional soul searching/I want to be alone music.
Her folk soul/alternative pop sound has gained many followers in the UK but is still yet to be discovered by many.
‘Building a Mystery’, ‘Adia’, and ‘Sweet Surrender’, are excellent songs, but it doesn’t stop there, the rest of the whole entire album is excellent too!

Tracks on the album ‘Mirrorball’ include:
Building A Mystery
Hold On
Good Enough
I Will Remember You
Adia
I Love You

Granted, each and every one of the nineteen tracks on this album are fine tunes which in one way or another define the musician, vocalist and writer that John Lennon was--my personal view is that he was one of the greatest rock 'n roll musicians of our time. The qualms that I have about this collection arise from the fact that it contains his most commercial tracks--some of the true Lennon gems are not included on this album. I can't recommend this album as being truly representative of his music, simply because some of his more obscure (and best) songs aren't present, but as a collection of his most popular tunes, it fills the bill.
John Lennon was enigmatic, both as a musician and an individual--he wore his heart on his sleeve...
