Hi there, I'm a single mum of a wonderful 16 year old called Charlie, or Charlotte when I'm mad :-) I'm self employed and am lucky enough to work from home. I'm a self confessed geek and love being in front of my pc.

This is another great work from the delectable Ben Harper, who has to be one of the most blessed musicians and songwriters of our time. He has treated us to one of his most eclectic mixes with Diamonds on the Inside. This album is full of something for just about everybody. It jumps straight into the uplifting, "With My Own Two Hands" a classic reggae track.. "When It's Good" has the Southern feel of classic acoustic blues. "Amen, Omen" is my favourite track, sends tingles through me when I hear it. "Brown Eyed Blues" and "Bring the Funk" are very soulful, boppy foot-tapping tracks. "Temporary Remedy" and “Touch From Your Lust“ give a rockier feel to the mix.. The last three songs on the album bring the pace down with some beautiful melodies, including Ladysmith Black Mambazo on "Picture of Jesus". If you’re looking for an album that has a piece of everything rhythm, blues, soul, funk, rock, that is executed perfectly, I’d recommend you go buy this.
