Whilst everyone was debating whether it was Blur or Oasis who where the top dogs of Britpop, Pulp came along with this fantastic album and scooped a heap of best album awards from right under their noses. This album continues from where His n' Hers left off, which is a great starting point, but it's a difficult album to improve upon. There are 12 quality songs here, though they are not always as immediately catchy as the like of Disco 2000 and Common people. Songs such as F.E.E.L.I.N.G. C.A.L.L.E.D. L.O.V.E AND Live Bed Show grow on you with every hearing. Also I've never got bored of this album - except maybe the slightly inferior single version of Disco 2000 that has been played way too much (album version still rules though). Best song on the album? Hard to say, they're all good, I'd go for Mis-shapes "Mis-shapes, mistakes, misfits, raied on a diet of broken biscuits". Weak track? Well I'm not a big fan of Pecil Skirt, even though it features the line "Well I've kissed your mother twice, Now I'm working on your dad". Buy It, love it. Also the early releases of this CD had different cards that you could slot into the sleeve, with lyrics on!

Too right - and you even said that, despite it's brilliance, it's still not as good as His n' Hers. I'd rate it on a par (in a different sense) with This is Hardcore, which has been criminally underrated.
