Advantages: Brand reputation, smooth feeling on skin. Disadvantages: Seemingly rather pointless extravagance.
What is it, and what does it claim to do?
Dr. Feelgood is marketed as an "Invisible refiner". In hindsight, it perhaps wasn't the best choice for an eighteen year old with skin that shouldn't need too much refining. But in the end it became a pleasant, if not a litte pointless, base for other products I applied to my face. It did, however, do as it promised in making my skin feel soft, and I liked the smell.
Packaging
I bought this product after being introduced to it by a friend who loved it. I too was enchanted by the lovely packaging and aesethetically pleasing container this product came in. A card box (which I still had up until my latest room turn-out!) which was pretty, and matched the background shown on the tin.
Application and Removal
Opening the tin, there is a sponge provided for applying ...
Advantages: well designed and written Disadvantages: none
Before reading this book I read Nikki Sixx - Heroin Diaries (got it cheap and thought I'd give it a go). Although I like Motley Crue, I wouldn't say I'm a huge fan, but I enjoyed Nikki's book so when I saw 'The Dirt' I thought I'd give it a go.
'The Dirt' certainly doesn't disappoint and the title is certainly an accurate reflection of the content! It's an autobiography of the band and its members, written by them with the help of Neil Strauss.
One thing I particularly enjoyed about the book is that it's written from the points of view of each member, including the brief membership of John Corabi, as well as a few other people connected to Motley Crue. Constructing the book in this manner allows us readers to see the same events from different perspectives and sometimes the way they differ is very intriguing.
Not only do we learn about ...

Upper Body Blast - Jenny Frost
'i've had Enough' - Suzanne Shaw

Sorry, but I didn't like this section. I felt patronised and made to feel a bit thick. It was as though us 'ordinary women' knew nothing about healthy lifestyles. Most of their comments are just a matter of common sense and nothing we haven't heard before.
Then we have that great double act Gordon and Tana Ramsey giving us tips on healthy eating.
This is a fun program for anyone starting from ...
