What is it like?
It is a white tape that comes on a roll that is kept in a plastic case/dispenser. It comes in two widths 4.2 mm (for text) and 8.4 mm (for handwriting). You get in excess of 8 metres of tape on a roll.
What did we do before it?
When using an ink pen correcting errors has always been a problem, I remember seeing people using a pen knife to scratch the paper and try to lift the ink off. It worked but would leave the paper very thin and sometimes it resulted in a hole in the paper.
Then along came the correction fluid, basically a bottle of white gloop and an applicator brush, the idea is you paint the gloop onto the error, wait for the said gloop to dry and then write or type over the top of it.
