Daft Punk are a duet of two French robitically-masked musicians, their identities well hidden allowing them to bask in the glory of their Dance fame yet lead a normaly life outside music (if there is such a thing). But what they refuse to hide is their brilliance and this album optimizes their talent, it being filled with songs that take about a second to fall in a dope-like trance to.

The first song of this album, entitled "One more time" is exactly what you'll be thinking when you hear the final bars of the tune and the album in total. It also contains the original version of the duet with Kanye West on the track "Stronger," under the name "Harder, Faster, Better, Stronger." Daft Punk are heavily underestimated when it comes to their musical ability, as they started off in a rock band and were not always just a couple of DJs, they just progressed. Within the album there is vocals, drum, guitar, bass and keyboard all perfectly blended together - something you would more expect from a band.

I would just like to share a little experience of Daft Punk I had, I was late to see them perform at a festival recently maybe turning up 3 minutes into the set. But we wanted to get right in towards the front, but with around 50,000 blocking your way it was hard. We chained arms and started to walk in, then we fell under the spell of the music, and couldnt help ourselves dance our way through the obedient crowd. I don't think I stopped moving for days as their sound chimed in my head. Brilliant.

My friends and I, when it comes to music, have some different tastes. They are more into heavier stuff like Saosin or Avenged Sevenfold where as I am partial to the odd dance tune and enjoy mellower stuff. We all love Daft Punk.
