Disney's Lullaby Album - Various Artists

...I bought this cd for my 6 month old daughter. My daughter seems to be soothed by the music, i tend to play it when i put her to sleep, instead of using a mobile, she drops off very quickly using this cd, so i am pleased, however i do not personally rate the music myself! The cd has various songs playing which are very soothing and calming, we tend to leave it playing on repeat whilst she is asleep, and if she wakes up in the middle of the night, she tends to drift back off without any problems, however on nights we dont use the cd, we tend to have many many more problems in settling her again, so i think this cd is very good.... Advantages: Great value for 3 CDs, plenty of songs for all the family to enjoy.
Disadvantages: Some periods of slow, lesser known tracks in a row.

...I bought this CD for my 6 year old Disney obsessed daughter. Great value as you get 3 CDs. All of the CDs have tracks that you and your children will recognise and know enough to sing along to, which is great for long car journeys. There is a good mixture of older Disney songs from films and TV, such as 'Have you ever seen an elephant fly' from Dumbo, and newer ones such as 'Breaking free' from High School Musical, with plenty of variety on all 3 CDs. My only criticism is that at some points on the CDs there are several slow, lesser known tracks in succession from films such as Tarzan and Mulan, which can be a bit dull. This CD can be enjoyed by adults and children alike, but I suspect once boys hit about 6 years old they would just think 'yuk' this is for girls, but luckily we haven't hit that point yet. The first time I ever saw your face Originally sung by Roberta Flack this song has been copied by various artists like George Michael or Johnny Cash over the years. Ultimate love song. 09. Baby close your eyes "...So baby close your eyes and rest your weary mind. Let me hold you close I'll sing you this lullaby..." Beautiful lyrics!!! 10. Come to me This song reminds me of "If I could". I find these two are very similar when it comes to lyrics. 11. Le loup, la biche et le cheval I don't remember any French at all so I can't translate this song for you.
