Advantages: Very very very fast. Disadvantages: Nope. none.
...First let me start by saying this album features probably the most tortured, aggressive vocal performance on any Slayer album ever - on the title track Tom Araya sounds like he's both giving and receiving a sound kicking whilst recording his vocal track.. absolutely top notch. Other standouts include the searing opener Killing Fields, Serenity In Murder which was released as a single and the positively blistering Dittohead. Ladies and gentlemen, this is Thrash Metal - on a stick. No, not a stick - a big metal spike. This is Reign In Blood, 1995 style, and at mid-price you'd be a fool not to buy it....

Advantages: all the best songs, killer solos, 90+ minutes Disadvantages: none of the more recent songs

However, its a shame they released this before DivineIntervention and such classics as Dittohead and Serenity In Murder.
The first CD in the double pack is filled with their most popular tunes. This is only a minor qualm but they could have mixed these sort of tracks up over both CDs so there would be something for everybody in both CDs. One of the best things about this album is that older songs are given a slightly modern twist to them. In earlier Slayer albums the guitars were put more into the background behind Tom Araya's high pitched vocals. In this live album you can hear all the tracks in its full ferocity setting! The first Cd opens with possibly...

Advantages: Great guitar work and lyrica Disadvantages: Poor word layout in booklet
...song on this album is 'Makedmansure', the first release from this album. The lyrics convey the thoughts of someone deeply in love however it's unrequited.
Then comes a batch of songs, 'Up Against (Blackout), My Blue Heaven, Twenty-Twenty Surgery and Spin'. These songs are excellent songs but not quite as impressive and unique as the first three.
The next song, 'DivineIntervention', brings a refreshing calmness and slowdown to the faster tracks previous. It is a more acoustic sounding song and I was pleasantly surprised as I'm not normally one for a slower song. 'DivineIntervention' has a nice, pure melody and wonderful lyrics in which you can really feel some emotion.
After the slowdown of 'DivineIntervention', it's straight back into faster, heavier guitars in the form of 'Miami'. This is probably my favourite track on the album for two...
