I don't usually go to restaurants as part of a large group of people, but my visit to Soprano's in Palmerston Road, Southsea, was an exception to this rule. A colleague of ten years (mine of eight of those) was leaving to go and live with a Welsh farmer, so we had to give her a fitting send off. Soprano's was recommended to us by one of our younger colleagues, and knowing that it had won an award for best restaurant in the Portsmouth area in 2006, we were happy to go along with her choice; she made a booking several weeks in advance for thirteen of us (all women) for 7pm one Saturday evening. The superstitious among us were perhaps a little relieved that on the day only eleven attended.

Intro

I will begin this review by issuing a warning to potential readers I am a huge fan of this series so forgive me if it seems I am over hyping this box set. I missed this series when it first came out I didn't catch it until I brought the DVD. At the time of purchase this cost over £35 so was no small investment, I can however state that it was one of the best £35's I have ever spent as it has given me many hours of enjoyment. It was my first introduction into the lives of the Sopranos the greatest American family since the Walton's! They may by now be as famous as the Walton's but that is were the comparison ends, the Walton's this is not, but it is perhaps the best television drama ever and season 1 was the perfect introduction to this Dysfunctional but entirely believable suburban ...

This chocolate is divine.
I keep it no secret I love a bar of chocolate especially a bar of dark plain chocolate. I put this down to being fed some of my dad's special Bourneville plain chocolate as a treat on a Saturday night when I was a nipper. I was in Tesco last night and decided I needed a treat I bought myself a 100G bar of Divine 70 % dark chocolate. This cost me 82p it is on offer usually costs £1.03p.
This chocolate from the Day Chocolate Co. is a fair-trade chocolate. The cocoa beans for this chocolate are farmed and dried in a cooperative of smallholder farmers in Ghana.
