The one in Airlie Beach was not much better, this was an outside kitchen and was full of bugs and flies due to the amount of food left lying around.
I found that I ate out the whole time I was staying at these hostels; I just couldn't bring myself to make any food in the kitchens.
Food/Bar:
On a plus side each of The Koalas Beach Resorts do have a good bar area that also serves food, they have themed evenings like Mexican Night $7 all you can eat and BBQ and Italian Nights.
I think they have to offer this really as you are not able to cook in the kitchens.
I sampled the Mexican Night and I have to say it was actually very nice and filling.

One thing I find with these books is that there is always an exciting plot, and this one is no exception.! It is very quick paced and busy, but still easy to follow. That is why I feel it is perfect for children aged 8 to 13 years of age. Also, the text is a good size so they will not strain their eyes to read it, and with the clear and basic language so they will not fret if they cannot understand it. It is also a good light read for adults though as it is a nice and simple story with no serious thinking involved! If you are not a confident reader then it is definitely going to be good for you too.
