Doctor Dolittle is a World premiere London Cast recording of songs from the musical. If you have seen the film or the musical you will know that the story is about a man that can communicate with animals. At no point is the play supposed to be serious, it is purely fantastical, funny and very entertaining. I haven't seen the musical myself but the film was a favorite for my childhood years. ...who is astonished when the Doctor presents him with a 'push me pull you', an animal with two heads at opposite ends of a body which pull in opposite ends. It is a lovely musical/film and this CD does not disappoint anyone who is a fan of musical classics. It also doesn't disappoint anyone who likes a bit of cheese; but in this 21st century society its important everyone has a bit of cheese in their lives every now and again, so we don't take life ...
