...make. I have always been a secret Nancy Drew fan and I still enjoy the occasional fix even now. So when this movie came out, I knew that I had to watch. The Nancy Drew books, created by Carolyn Keene, have been around for years, which obviously created a bit of a dilemma for the director of this film, Andrew Fleming, because he must have wanted both to create characters and a story that would suit Nancy Drew fans and attract a new legion of fans by coming up with something a bit more modern than the original stories. Was he successful? Yes and no....

Advantages: Fantastic theatre Disadvantages: Can only pay with cash
...The Alhambra theatre first opened in Dunfermline in 1922 and due to financial problems staging live shows became The Temple Of Motion Pictures in 1924. It ended up closing down in 1965 was turned into a bingo hall.
A couple of years ago the bingo hall moved to Dunfermline?s eastern expansion and the building became vacant. A property developer and theatre manager saw the potential in the place and decided to restore it to its former glory.
The Alhambra reopened in 2008 and Dunfermline favorites Nazareth were the first act to play in the venue again. The line up so far has included KT Tunstall, Roy Chubby Brown and One Night Of Queen.
I had heard loads of stories from an elderly neighbour about how he loved visiting The Alhambra to see films as a boy and I was delighted to hear that they had arranged to have a touring projection...

...About The Marlowe Theatre
The Marlowe Theatre in Canterbury was redeveloped in 2005 and currently it is spread across three floors. Inside, there are two auditoriums, one of which has 1,200 seats and the other one has around 200 seats. Also inside is a bar on each of the three floors, a café and a hospitality suite.
Where Is The Theatre Located
The Marlowe Theatre is at the lower end of the City centre and is easily accessible whatever you choose at your mode of transport. There are plenty of car parks only a few minutes walk away and there is even a car park behind the theatre. The train and bus stations are also only a 5-7 minute walk away.
