Advantages: Experimental album, lyrics, 3 classic-tracks, 2 hits, the booklet is much better.
Disadvantages: The presentation of "40", sound, the booklet is still not good enough yet, lyrics with mistakes.

In San Francisco he gets angry because of an Irish-"SF" flag and reprimands the person: "Is SF a girl's name or stands it for Sinn-Fein, the political arm of the Irish-Republican-Army ? I don't know how You can stand or stomach to wave that sign this week !" Then he tells what had happened in Enniskillen 4 days ago. I haven't heard Bono rarely so furiously and out of contenance than in here. Far digressed, but I think this are still very necessary extracts, this song can receive only one note and it reflects live simply more emotions than in this studio version. Advantages: long, lots of great songs, wonderful guitar work and strong performances all round
Disadvantages: very diverse and lacks cohesion, some of the songs just don't hit the mark

...'s lyrics suit me really well, because I tend to remember the bits and pieces that mean something to me, that make sense in my mind, and I learn the rest later. I don't care if the rest of them don't make sense - poetry doesn't have to make sense, anyway, and they are most certainly poetic. If lyrics are important to you to enjoy a song, you'll find examples of all Anthony's songwriting strengths on Stadium Arcadium. He has a unique way with language where he'll put together unexpected, clever rhymes, often several in the same verse - "My shadow side, so amplified, keeps coming back dissatisfied" (Wet Sand) or "Walking down to the burial ground, it's a merry old dance with a merry old sound" (Slow Cheetah) being nice examples. ...When Matt Willis first went into the jungle I was backing him to win, as it looked like he was gonna drift into obscurity with his music career, and I loved his first 2 singles so I did NOT NOT NOT want that to happen. This album is huge justification of why I didn't want that to happen, it is, in one politically correct phrase... EFFING AMAZING. Here is my track by track break down of the album: 1 - HEY KID I absolutely love this track, it is everything an anthemic pop song should be. The guitars give it enough edge to cater for even the most cynical pop music hater. The words are brilliant, and its actually pretty motivational.
