Advantages: The best of metal, great vocals and riffs Disadvantages: Lyrics might not appeal to those who think that lyrics make a song
...and grinding metal. Score: 4
Track 2: I’m with Stupid
The first Static-X song I ever heard. I didn’t really like it much. Usually it takes a while for me to like a band. I have to listen to an album a few times and get used to their style and furthermore understand them. Once again simple lyrics used in a complex manor. I used a lyric page to understand this page. Because you will not understand what he is saying in an other manor. I supposed he is talking about a former love that wanted him to be someone else thus the use of the phrase I am min I am mine I can’t become someone else”. The instrumentals compliment the fast pace singing of Wayne. It’s a good song. Score: 4
Track 3: Bled for days
One of my favorite tracks. Once again the song has short praises instead of statements. Wayne Static is providing...

Advantages: An exvellent buy that brings a classic story to life Disadvantages: May not be suitable for young kids. They may find some parts scary
...This recording, originally released in 1978, was bought together by Jeff Wayne and is a classic musical version of the well known War of the Worlds book by H.G Wells. Through the established talents of top music stars including David Essex, PhilLynott, Julie Covington and Justin Hayward the story of the martian invasion of earth is told through narration(by Richard Burton) and music. This 2 cd set is best listened to in a darkened room and quite load. This helps build the atmosphere as the story starts with the martian ships landing across the world and helps you realise how unprepared we are should the occasion ever arise!. I have owned this recording on both vinyl and CD and never get tired of listening to the haunting music and classic songs. DON'T MISS IT!!!!...

Advantages: Beautiful and introspective Disadvantages: A little too wispy at times
...Life in the Smashing Pumpkins must have been a grind sometimes. Thankfully, the drug scandals, shaved and sprawling double concept albums of recent times failed to inform the debut solo LP of "baby faced" guitarist James Iha (pronounced like "yee-hah!" apparently).
Instead he's been overdosing on Crosby, Stills and Nash and writing low-key country tunes with his best mate from Fountains Of Wayne. They were all recorded in James' basement, and one presumes that his neighbours have a low noise tolerance as barely a fuzz pedal is stomped in anger. If you're doing trad you might as well go the whole hog, and these wonderful songs are what valve amps and pedal steels were made for.
"The themes of this record are love and faith," James opines.
It's cutesy, but you'll love it....
