Underneath the sky is a slower, contemplative song, with Liam in very good singing voice, and excellent lyrics.
Cum on feel the noize, originally recorded by Slade, is one of the finest cover versions you are ever likely to hear. It takes the original, adds more body, and generally cranks it up a couple of notches.

Step out was originally going to be on (What's the story) morning glory?, but was removed at the last moment. You can't see why. It is a brilliant guitary rocker. It's obviously based on "uptight" by Stevie Wonder" (he is credited as co-songwriter), but don't let that put you off!

This is truly a superb album and possibly the album of the nineties. The album contains some brilliant and wonderful tracks that are Beatles influenced, but this is slightly and it adds to the overall definition and feel of the album. The Beatles influence does show in "Don'tLookBackInAnger" but that was one of the most popular songs on the album showing that there is a place for classic brilliance in the 90's dance tunes. Champagne supernova has got to be one of the best tracks on the album, but there are so many superb tracks you'll find it hard to have just one favourite.
What?s the Story Morning Glory is definitely an album for everyone, no matter what your taste in music! ...

They'd already won over the indie fan. The cult hero's were due to take the charts by storm which they did in 1995 with this classic album. "Wonderwall" "Some Might Say" "Don'tLookBackInAnger" and "Champagne Supernova" were the chart triumphs that took the Gallagher brothers into the living room of ever self respecting young male. Some might say it could only have been downhill from this album. A great follow up to definately maybe, the only thing missing was the edge they now struggle to recreate. A timeless classic none the less. ...
