I like this album. Dont get me wrong, itz a good album , and anyone who doesnt like it has something wrong with them. However, it is vastly overated by just about everyone who has ever talked to me about it. As all of the reviews suggest, and as all as my friends told me, this is meant to be a classic album, up there with Nevermind and the likes.... However, it is not. Whilst most of the songs are well performed with amusing lyrics, too many of them are just too slow, and after a while their repetitiveness gets boring. Whilst there are stand out tracks like Welcome to Paradise, Basket Case, and When i come Around, too many of them are forgetable, and soon u find yourself skipping tracks. Still, i recomend this album to anyone, especially at a cheap price. However, it aint a classic, and personally, i prefer music from more upbeat punk artists such as Offspring, Blink 182 and Less Than Jake. Buy it, but by all means dont worship it.
