Advantages: Lots of rythmn Disadvantages: Some might not like the type of music
...admit, but pretty soon I knew all the tracks like old friends and played the CD up loud in the car on long journeys, singing along and feeling happy.
This album was released on 1st January 1992.
A little about the artists.
Two brothers, Richard and Fred Fairbrass, formed the group, Rob Manzoli played guitar. The brothers lived and worked in Sussex, in a gym and released their first hit just to see what would happen really. It was a huge hit in America and an even huger hit in the U.K. followed by two other hits from the album "Don't Talk, Just Kiss" and "Deeply Dippy."
They chose the name from the old song by Bernard Cribbins who had a hit with Right Said Fred in 1962.
The rest of the people who play a part in this albums music are below.
We have here on Bass: Phil Spalding,
Piano: Phil Taylor
Strings: Nick Ingman

...This album was alright but nothing like his other albums. Ths songs are not really original and the whole thing seems rushed and incomplete. I have heard better songs that he decided NOT to put on the album.
Best Tracks:
Track 2: DoubleUp; Has good beat that you can nod your head to, though I don't like the suggestive lyrics.
Track 8: I'm A Flirt; HHas a nice commercial sound and is quite catchy
Weird Tracks:
Track 7: The Zoo; What the hell? Has a monkey noise in it, that goes 'ooh ooh ooh ooh ahh ahh ahh ahh' I burst out laughing when I heard this.
Track 6: Freaky In The Club; Y don't know if he was trying to do another 'Slow Wind' but this sounded cheap and boring.
Worst Tracks:
Everything else on the album...

Advantages: great big band music Disadvantages: none
...Vay is my father, however, if you love Big Band music or love the Glenn Miller Orchestra then this is a must night out. If you are into Glenn Miller fully, then they also have open air concerts, where many come dressed up in WW2 clothing and dance to the music all day long. Ray McVay also tells the audience about Glenn Miller, the music and how the songs originated, therefore making these concerts great for those who have an interest in music, those who just want to learn or those who just love the music. I do find however these concerts are not very good for the very young children as they can get bored, however, my children love to watch the band and have done since they were 6 years old....
