so often of going to the dogs ? and well, here are the dogs, and you have reached them.? George Orwell?s vivid memoir of his time among the desperately poor and destitute in London and Paris is a moving tour of the underworld of society. Here he painstakingly documents a world of unrelenting drudgery and squalor ? sleeping in bug-infested hostels and doss houses, working as a dishwasher in the vile ?Hôtel X?, living alongside tramps, surviving on scraps and cigarette butts ? in an unforgettable account of what being down and out is really like.
Advantages: Good Songs , Mixture of Songs Disadvantages: weak voice
...thing that does slightly annoy me about this album is the fact that some of the songs are about Paris and how much she loves herself. For example one song is 'Fighting Over Me' and another is 'jealousy' which is about her ex-best friend Nicole Richie being jealous of her.
One positive point is that , Paris being a multi-millionnaire already obviously did not just make this album for the money like 'celebrities' such as Channelle Hayes who release Cds just to make money out of their fifteen minutes of fame! At least Paris has done this album because it's genuinely something she wanted to do , rather than just for the cash!
A good album , great songs , shame about her voice!
Thanks For Reading!

Advantages: excellent gothic rock, nice cover artwork Disadvantages: not as catchy or upbeat as Blessed Be and Devils
...Hot on the heels of the rather splendid Blessed Be comes the follow-up, Paris Kills. The songs aren't as memorable and it's more difficult to pick out the strong tracks although Betty Blue (a hommage to the erotic French film and its star Beatrice Dalle) was a hit in their native Finland.
On the whole, Paris Kills is a lot slower than Blessed Be whilst Jyrki still manages to retain his ball-dropping deep vocals and the overall mood of the CD is dark and gloomy.
Don't turn Your Back on Fear is my favourite track - it's a catchy little dark rock ditty with a sing-a-long chorus. It's a good album for completists otherwise save your pennies for Blessed Be or Devils....
