...I've got all the Back To Love compilations from Hed Kandi of of "classic tracks that gave birth to a whole generation of clubbers", and was listening to this one (well, both CD's in this double-pack actually) in my car earlier today, so though't I'd let you know what I thought... --- CD1 1. "You're gonna miss me" - Turntable Orchestra (original mix) Classic "italian house" piano, and a great baseline 2. "Love will find a way" - Victor Romeo feat. Latrice Brown Nothing special about this one really, a bit of a filler really... 3. "See the day" - Ann Consuelo (Stonebridge mix) What a vocal ! And more italian piano. 4. "Aftershock" - Slave to the Vibe (12" club mix) Maybe it's this extended 12" mix (that Hed Handi is all about), but I remember this track being much better... 5. "Push the feeling on... Read review

Advantages: Great album, full of some amazing songs
Disadvantages: Not to everyone's tastes

...to understand the UK rap scene is not easy, mainly because there isn't a huge one and the artists involved are mainly unsigned, of course we see the likes of Dizzee Rascal and Kano making mainstream hours on Radio One indicating perhaps a change in the industry, however it is still very difficult to track down certain artists. Particularly ones who decide to call themselves Ghetto! In a genre where just about every artist tries to hail from the ghetto and the word comes up in many a song title trying to find an artist by the name is extremely difficult when you don't understand the scene. It was completely by accident that I found myself on www.myspace.com/ghettomc his myspace page and I had the page bookmarked as soon as I realised what I'd found!! Advantages: Jaheims voice is simply incredible
Disadvantages: none as far as i can see

...Jaheim has always been a favourite artist of mine and his new CD Ghetto Love does not dissappoint. The husky voiced crooner is back on form with a number of slow and smooth tracks that just put you in the mood for . . . you know what. Around the world I'm sure there will be millions of babies made to this CD. The title track Ghetto love is one of the highlights of the album along with Just in Case. But lets not just name the good tracks becase I'd just be writing the track list. The album also boasts an array of featured artists such as Lil' Mo and Next. Ghetto love has found a perminent place in my CD player and should do so in everyone elses.... Read review
