Advantages: My Favourite Album Disadvantages: We're Still Waiting For another album...
.... (4:08)
Track 9 - Squeal
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
My favourite song from this album. You will be singing this song all day, although only 2:38 in length, it will really give you a vibe that i'm sure you'll love. Opening with a good drum beat and fabulous instrumental to follow. The true ska influence in No doubt can really be heard in Squeal
Track 10 - Doghouse
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
The end of the album now, and a great end to a great album it is. With great lyrical power and really good use of instrumens. Doghouse, although 4:26 in length, the song has strong use of drums within it. One of the most upbeat on the album
This is a really great album. I;d reccoment it to everyone, although if No Doubt is not your cup of tea, then i would definately not reccomend it. This is one of the more 'toned down' albums. but I still see no reason...

Advantages: A brilliant collection of one of the greatest ever ska bands Disadvantages: your own faveourites might be missing.
...The Selecter are one of the best, and yet understated Ska Bands of the late 70's and 80's.
They have a unique sound that is quite different from other ska music that was around at the same time such as one of the most famous ska bands 'The Specials'. The Selecter combine the off-beat sound of two-tone ska with the unique and brilliant voice of Pauline Black to create a great outcome. If you have not heard of the sound of Ska it might be described as English Reggae, originating in coventry. Another famous Ska band are Madness. Up beat, happy and 'dancable'.
The band have been inspirational to many famous modern artists such as Gwen Steffani, and were invited to tour with No Doubt as support. Basment Jaxx have also covered the famous hit 'On My Radio' as an album track.
This album is a 'best of' collection and comrises of all...

* I’m Down *
This track starts off the album in a punk style (no hint of ska yet!); it is a fast paced song, which is likely to get any crowd going in no time at all. This song is about felling down and the reasons why?
* Pick A Fight *
This song is a very good mixture of punk and ska-punk, it goes from a very fast faced punk to a very mellow (almost reggae feel) then back to the punk again. This is a very good song and makes you feel good. The song is about leaving someone because they always fight, but then getting back together and it ending again.
* The End Of The Day *
This is a song, which I think is basically about Goldfinger. I think it is probably about all the criticism...
