Advantages: Absolutely delightful with plenty of different musical styles to keep things varied
Disadvantages: "Asuka Strikes!" is really horrendous

.... The sound quality is crisp and clear, with none of the instruments drowning out in too wet a mix. The availability is a whole other matter. Originally released under the Japanese Geneon label, the rights for international distribution were bought by BMG who undertook to re-release just about all the Evangelion soundtracks. I have no idea whether any of these are still in print, though considering the popularity of the music (as well as the series), I would not rule out the possibility. The best bet would be to check Amazon or eBay for used copies as there always seems to be some available (usually going at around £6-12). CONCLUDING WORDS The Neon Genesis Evangelion Original Soundtrack Vol.1 is a very good introduction to the music of Evangelion and is quite a fun album overall. I like music from the 70's, from the 80's, from the 90's and some of the recent stuff. Okay so I don’t like everything! However, my favourite music, something you are more likely to find in my personal CD player, or on my stereo is house music and in particular this CD - Clubland X-treme.... which is my opinion is the mother of all CD's! Clubland X-treme would only be suitable for those people who like dance music, go clubbing and like loud techno sounds.
