I saw this band supporting Jimmy Eat World back in 2005 and they were amazing! I've been waiting for an album ever since, and finally it's here...............and it doesn't disappoint!
Frankly it's a mystery as to why this band aren't massive, and I can only hope it won't be too long before they start getting some more recognition. If you take the time to listen to this album then you'll understand why!
Every track on the album is catchy, memorable, and has something different about it. There's a great mix of pop and rock, some brilliant riffs, and some pretty solid lyrics. There are obvious influences flowing through the whole album, and no doubt you'll find your own if you listen to it. I would say there are similarities with the Smiths, and especially Boy Kill Boy in places, but that's not to say any of this is unoriginal.
The best tracks on the album are probably "Everyone Says I'm Paranoid", "My Brother Chris" and the Klaxons-esque "Ghosts Of An Unforgivable Past", but to be fair there isn't a bad track on the album, and I just hope we don't have to wait as long for the next one!
