Advantages: Beautiful music, exquisite arrangements, sweet memories Disadvantages: none (except having to wait ages for the 'Rainbow Connection') album!

‘Only Yesterday..’ 8
By 1975, the Carpenter craze was beginning to dim – their new album, they felt, was unnecessarily rushed.
‘HORIZON’ Released: 1975 (*** out of 5)
Highlights: Only Yesterday: a Carpenteresque classic
I can dream, can’t I: an awesome vocal performance by Karen
‘I was born to belong to the lines of a song..’ 9
Karen’s health was deteriorating by 1976 (she was diagnosed with anorexia nervosa), as was the Carpenters’ ability to top the charts. This album, their 8th, was the first in 7 years not to reach ‘gold’ status:
‘KIND OF HUSH’ Released: 1976 (*** out of 5)

Advantages: long track listing, 13 CDs, bonus songs, nice box Disadvantages: not all original studio albums
...Let me just start by saying that I am a monstrously huge fan of Aerosmith, so it is going to be difficult to be unbiased. But I will do my best, I promise.
This boxed set is well presented in an impressive flame covered box, with a match as the handle. Inside the box, there sits 13 CD’s, 12 albums and 1 bonus disc. The albums that are included within are all Aerosmith’s early albums, from 1973 through to 1986. The bonus disc includes rarities and never before released songs. I will attempt to list all of the albums, with the original release dates:
1973 – Aerosmith
1974 – Get Your Wings
1975 – Toys In The Attic
1976 – Rocks
1977 – Draw The Line
1978 – Live! Bootleg
1979 – Night In The Ruts
1980 – Greatest Hits
1982 – Rock In A Hard Place
1986 – Classics Live...

Advantages: Aerosmith Rock/ Thought Provoking In Places Disadvantages: May Not Please Aerosmith Fans Of The 70s
...not appeal to Aerosmith fans that don't like anything from 1979 onwards, however, that isn't to say this track isn't good. In fact it's one of my favourites on here.
The track is mainly about lust, and the track speaks of how basically, lust takes place all over the world.
The bass on this track is fantastic, especially during one of my favourite lines: "From Boston Mass, to Bangladesh!" In which the guitar and bass speed up slightly as the word "Boston Mass", slightly distorts.
This track also features an exceptional guitar solo which is one of my favourites on the album, as well as a large strange build up that leads to a silence....Tyler then screams "Flesh!" as the music blasts back on. This track has some of the best screams in Tyler has ever done in his tracks. Over all, this is a favourite of mine, but over looked by many others...
