Advantages: Amazing debut, groundbreaking lyrics Disadvantages: Not abundantly available
...of subsequent singles. Discounting the two skits the remaining tracks are all astoundingly good on any scale. Standouts include '1979', 'Return Of The Drifter', 'High Plains Anthem', and 'The Trilogy', but really you can't fault any of them.
Production is funky and dramatic in equal measures, always reflects the lyrical content of the track (most of them are produced by Jehst himself), and are just the sort of beat-fodder that fans of the 'golden age' (93/94, you know the score) will be eating up.
Don't be put off by the fact that you haven't heard of him, or by the fact that he's English, if you're feeling tru-skool hip-hop then you can't go wrong with Jehst. Also check out his brilliant second LP 'Falling Down'....

Advantages: Very reasonable, feel good factor Disadvantages: Not the most well know Rock love songs of the era
...The album of golden oldies!

I bought this album as it was being sold very reasonably and thought why not, but I am really glad I did. Whether you are having a romantic night in or doing the washing up on a Sunday it is a good addition to your record collection - but put it on and sing to your hearts content.
