Well to start of i'll get it out of my system... im a quater german, that hails from the blackforest town of Triberg (held the Ice skating winter olypics back in the 20's!). But being embarassed of my heritage is something I am most ceratinly NOT. The BlackForest is a Wonderful Place to go on holiday for the young and old alike. There's something to do for everyone.
During the summer the blackforest is made up of rolling hills, beautiful fields of flowers and some of the most breathtaking scenary in the whole of Europe. It is EXCELLENT hill walking territory, with the guest houses FULL to the brim during the summer months. Excellent places to go include the town of Schonwald, which translates into 'Beautiful valley' which has an amazing view coupled with some of the best restaurants in the blackforest.

In our house, we never bought cocoa - if we made cakes or had hot chocolate, Cadbury's drinking chocolate was pressed into service - but when I was a student stacking shelves in a supermarket, one of my favourite aisles to replenish was tea and coffee because we had packs of beans that could be opened so customers could grind them to whichever level of smoothness/coarseness they liked in the in-store grinder - it made the aisle smell fantastic. Lingering around the hot chocolate one day, I noticed this cocoa powder and decided I had to try it.
The cocoa comes in a little foil-lined card drum with a plastic lid (as some hot chocolates and cocoa powders tend to).
