...Ok you like eminem then you will love d12 as everyone knows eminem is in d12 duh!!! Recently they released their album called devils night and it is really good but the not the best. In my own opinion eminem is far better on his own. If you liked d12's song sh*t on you or their new one purple hills then you will like their album, its got great catchy songs that are bound to stay in your head are have you singing along to them. My fave song on the album has to be purple hills as there is something about it, it might just be because its catchy buy anyway. It is one of them albums that you have to buy its cheap lots of songs on it and one of the best rappers are in it (eminem) of course. D12 are signed to the shady records and eminem always told them if he made it big which he has then he would help them get to where he is now... Read review

...Anyone who is into popular music has heard of Eminem and his risque lyrics and albums. Despite what people may think about his anti-gay, anti-establishment, basically anti-everything music, he has successfully managed to take the music world by the scruff of the neck and throttle it. Now that he has made a name for himself, it is the turn of his trusty??? sidekicks "D12". Originating from Detroit with Eminem, his "dirty dozen" posse have remained out of the limelight supporting his rise to fame until now. A few months ago, i was scanning through the music channels on satellite tv when i came across quite an amusing and colourful music video. It quite clearly sounded like Eminem but with others. It was titled "Purple Hills". Curiosity got the better of me and i consequently went out asnd bought the album "Devil's Night". I soon foud out... Read review

Advantages: Eminem's Dominating Lyrics, Decent D-12 Performance, Some Good Production, Humorous and Creative at times
Disadvantages: Tries too hard to be controversial, Filler, Some Bad Production, Bizarre is a poor human

...storytelling and a tiny ounce of braggadiocio and street narratives. D-12 proves that they are worthy even without Eminem or Bizarre on this track, as Em is part of the chorus and Bizarre only does one small 4 bar verse which is pretty funny admittedly. The way the song is produced and mixed is nice, with some thumping bass, guitar strings, and chimes. D-12 gets a bit more light-hearted with the lead single from Devil's Night, which is "Purple Pills". Featuring a light-hearted synthesizer beat with some thumping reccurring bass and a catchy and head-knodding harmonica, this song sets up a perfect backdrop for a straight up drug anthem. The edited version of the song is the mediocre Purple Hills which was a failure due to the fact that due to the controversial lyrics, it was edited giving us a bunch of preverbial nonsense about finding purple...
