Advantages: It just feels right Disadvantages: where is vol 2 ???
...The Viva Diablo Blanco compilation is a carefully selection of hyms of drum'n'bass / ambient tunes from the mid 90's. You'll be sure to rebember tracks such as Apollo 440's "Ain't Talking about dub" and Fat Boy Slim's "Song for Linda" and at the same time recall some less mainstream artists such as The Aloof and The Art of Noise and on top some very good remixes by the likes of the brazillian collective Filla Brazilia and others.
All in all this album does really capture the essence of the whole snowboarding sub-culture, so the snowboarder on the album's cover isn't just a fluke.
In a few words this compilation is bold, young and fast paced, but still a ambient album that you can play over and over....

Advantages: Some good dance tracks across genres Disadvantages: Not as good as some of their other compilations
...This CD is actually a few years ago but I had heard some good things about it when i bought it earlier this year. It has laso benn credited on other music and review sites as an eponymous Hed Kandi CD.
Beach House Mix
DJ Gregory's Elle opens the disc with an atmospheric Spanish guitar making it an ideal Ibiza chill out track that sounds as if it should be on the soundtrack for the Beach Life game. Starting out with a bit more of an interesting tune Blue Six's Music & Wine was the fourth track which then continued on to be much of a muchness. Love Will Find A Way by Solidarity...

Advantages: great basslines and deep mood music Disadvantages: a little too political in parts
...I have many different musical tastes and am always happy to try something new.I purchased this cd a few years ago after enjoying various reggae tracks by variousartists so thought i would expand my horizons and go for something a little deeper.

with 17 songs only totalling a running time of just under 55 minutes most songs are set to an average of three minutes so its pretty easy listening.
now i will point out that some of the songs(if not most) have political leanings but this is expected with dub music as a whole.with artists like king tubby and jah stitch, glen brown and tappa zukie to name but a few its...
