Well not all of the lyrics are new material, this is expected, some of biggies verses are sampled from mixtapes, but this is not a disadvantage.
But listening to the album all the way through, not for once did it not feel like the collabrations were all done at a time when biggie was alive, this is impressive production from the badboy team.
This album features endless respected hip hop acts such as Nas, The Game, Mobb Deep, Jay-z and the list goes on. Every rapper does justice with there duets. The beats do not fail to dissappoint at all.
Without contradicting i feel that some the new school rappers did not put the best lyrics into the duets, because in respects it would overshadow, some biggies fine work. This a minor disadvantage.
One of my favourite tracks is the one featuring R.Kelly, 'Mi Casa'. This tune shows how Robert (R. Kelly) is cabable of working with almost everybody. The beat is a typical R.Kelly classic, and without doubt matches the Notorious BIG, notorious flow, it also features R.Kelly vocals for the chorus.
To me the diplomats play too much games with their music But i have to give it them, sometimes the end product is positive. The tune 'I'm Wit Whateva ' featuring Jim Jones & Juelz Santana from the diplomats, is a no nonsense track. The beat is militant and the vocals are impressive from all the featurings. The main attraction of this tune is Biggies opening bars about 3/4 from the end, they are top class bars.
'As i grab the glock, aim it to ur head piece, one in the chamber, da safety is off release' (Notorious BIG-Im Wit Whateva)

Nice review, but it does assume that anyone reading is already a fan of some of the acts featured, rather than telling us what it's going to sound like.
Advantages: Still good to hear BIG and some good special appearances Disadvantages: Lakes new material and far to few high quality songs for a BIG album
