Dying To Say This To You - Sounds (The)

Advantages: Glamourous Indie Rock 'n' Roll at it's sparkly finest
Disadvantages: Occassionally pretentious and repetitive

...to the cheesy "I've been dying to say this you, I hate your f**king attitude!" this track never fails to be incredibly forceful. Nice echo too. Does it sound the same as all their other songs though? 'Hurt You' is 'Tony The Beat' wrapped up in a politally correct, LED lit package. Funny, I don't remember putting my iPod on repeat... Track 9 and we're almost there! "It takes more than a heartbeat to get me, I've been holding on for much too long." ...
...is really the same song ten times, but it is a good song. Fans of The Killers and Blondie won't be dissappointed either. I've Been Dying To Say This To You- go buy it, it'sonly a tenner. Or download it off of somewhere. Even if just for the cowbells. ... Read review

Disadvantages: "Hurt you" is my least favourite. Otherwise none!

...Band Members -------------- Maja Ivarsson (1979), vocals Felix Rodriguez (1979), guitar Johan Bengtsson (1979), bass Jesper Anderberg (1981), synthesizer Fredrik Nilsson (1979), drums The Sounds have come a long way. I have friends that came from the same village and Maja Ivarsson, the lead singer, and from what I heard, she definitely deserves the growing limelight today. Having known them from being a small, unknown supporting band at small venues to the now major event at massive gigs and even at O2 Wireless, Reading Festival and more (they had a column in The London Paper, w00t!) , The Sounds definitely worked hard to achieve their popularity today. And I definitely hope that more people will hear them out. The Sounds new album, 'Dying to say this to you', consists of 10 songs, in total lasting about 35 minutes... Read review
