Advantages: All you could want from a vacuum cleaner Disadvantages: Not a relevant question!
I LOVE my Dyson DC19! I paid £119.99 from LX Direct and I have also seen this great price in my local Sainsburys so it pays to shop around.
This is by far the best vacuum cleaner I have ever owned and I have owned MANY ( cats, dog, kids, big house, cars etc), any cleaner in this house is bound to take a bashing and I usually find that the brushes fall apart, or the hoses split and it ends up looking like a comedy of errors held together with duct tape, but not this one!!
So, what do I like most? Not having to continually buy dust bags has to be a major factor, and saves a lot of money.
Being able to see how full it is - I love this part when my son announces theres nothing wrong with his bedroom and and I go in there with the Dyson and come out with a full tank!
Being able to strip it down and wash all the bits is great ...

Advantages: Great sucking power, easy to use, easy to put away Disadvantages: Not easy to store, specific storing method!
This is quite a popular vacuum as a lot of people i know have this particular one!!! One feature i hate, always will and always have is the storage method!!! you basically roll the vacuum head into a little concave indent! This means you also have to have the specific head on it!!! You cant stow it away with any other head except the man one! Even then it is so large to put into a cupboard or something! However it is relatively simple to use! Great suction power and ours hasn't lost any yet! Cable length is great and it has a cable retraction button so you don't have to worry about winding it up! Its not the best of the Dysons we have had but it certainly isn't the worst! It is very reliable and hasn't broke down once for me and it cleans very well! The main head has two features built in... A Brush and suck, or just a suck option!!! I ...
Advantages: upright, powerful, easy to use, good tool storage Disadvantages: no cord rewind, awkward hose for stairs, bulky
a good way of making sure that the unit is emptied when necessary.
Even though the dyson feels heavy at first, once switched on it glides easily and swiftly over the carpet, and brings the pile up beautifully. The weight of the unit actually helps with the cleaning, as the dyson does the hard work and keeps the downward force and suction while the user merely has to guide the dyson around. It is actually very light when the suction is working, and can be pushed by a small child when being used.
The large wheels make moving the dyson around simple, and they do not catch on the cable, which can sometimes get in the way. It also improves the gliding ability and maneuverability.
The storage arrangements for the hose and tools are very neat and tidy, and make good use of the design of the unit. The metal hose slides neatly into ...
