...Angels is the song which started up the career of the amazingly talented Robbie Williams and launched his career from then until a long time to go. From 1997 since this single came out until now and for many years to come Angels is an astounding single which would probably be more of a national anthem than any other song. Love or Hate Robbie probably the whole of the nation knows basically the whole set of lyrics to it or would be able to scream out the chorus with the very high 'All' and 'Waterfall' ( Seriously it hurts your ears if the person singing it can't sing lol) or at least hum along to the tune.
The song is a sad , emotional , powerful and beautiful song which can make you smile, laugh and sing along all at once. When i was looking through all the other reviews of Angels on Ciao every single one of them had 5 stars...

Advantages: Amazing voice, 12th track Take My Hand Disadvantages: All the tracks are flawless
...My music taste has really varied over the past few years. I've gone through a pop stage, a dance stage and I've gone through a rather odd euro trash pop stage ( does anyone remember Corona - I'd love to know ). At the moment though I am trapped between two very different music tastes and they are between two albums. First is Dido and 'No Angel' and Daft Punk 'Discovery'. I know they are very different. I have already written about the latter so it is only fair that I comment on the former. So here is what I think of the Dido album.
I heard Dido for the first time way back in 2000 when her song 'Here With Me' was floating around. I thought it was very catchy but although I heard it a few times I didn't here of her again - I thought her name was Adido at this time. Then all of a sudden her name - now I knew it was Dido...

...Simply Red (aka Mick Hucknall) launched onto the music scene in 1984, the heady days of my youth. I was just 20 and that’s a scary thought!
Mick Hucknall was born near Manchester on June 8 1960 and started his music career in the unsuccessful punk band “Frantic Elevators”. It was only after he moved into the genre of rock/soul, that he went on to build an enduring and successful career. There are other members of the band, but they are less well known Tony Bowers (b. October 31, 1952) (bass), Chris Joyce (b. October 11, 1957, Manchester, England) (drums), and Tim Kellett (b. July 23, 1964, Knaresborough, England) (brass, keyboards), plus Sylvan Richardson (guitar) and Fritz McIntyre (b. September 2, 1956, Birmingham, England) (keyboards) - source www.vh1.com.
It’s testament to Mick Hucknall and all the other band members...
