Before picking up this soundtrack from the TV show, ER, I recalled that I had watched about fifteen minutes and realized that there was more personal drama than I had been expected (is this not like every other TV show?). So when I got the soundtrack, because the TV show is so captivating, I ran through the entire soundtrack in one whiz and noticed that each of the pieces are actually quite powerful and, suddenly, I grew very fond of the entire CD. The titles of the compositional pieces are very touching and seem to connotate the essence of being a doctor, particularly in the emergency room, fairly well. The soundtrack actually really gets me feeling like I'm being productive, and I find it helpful to listen to while I study.
Highly recommended - there are no words.
