...Imagined Oceans is a brilliant selection of Music by Karl Jenkins, so before I say anything else I would recommend it to everyone to listen to at least some of the Tracks if not all.
The Tracks on imagined Oceans are named after the Seas on the moon (Not that their are any real liquid seas on the moon but imagined ones by early astronomers looking up at the moons dark patches). Each tracks Music is meant to say somthing about the name of the sea or the area of the moon.
The Ensemble accompanying the Music is the 'Karl Jenkins Ensemble' which creates a Harmonious background for the soloists; Pamela Thorby gives an excellent perfomance on the Recorder and Three Solo Singers Sarah Eyden, Micaela Haslam and Heather Cairncross sing the melody brilliantly.

...Some people possess the strangest CDs, don’t they? You wonder why they buy them in the first place and whether they actually listen to them once they own them. Idly browsing through Ciao’s classical music pages, I found that someone had proposed this disc to Ciao; and as I just happen to have a copy in my extensive collection it seemed fitting that I dusted it down and listened to it again – and wrote a review.
I freely admit that I listen to it only rarely – and I’ve never heard it all the way through non-stop. It’s a very difficult disc to review. Read on and you may understand why…

...there is little to write her as this is her debut album.
JoJo grew up in Boston in a musical household where her mother, a church soloist, would often practice hymns and influences such as Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin and Whitney Houston inspired her from an early age. "When I was two years old, I would sing nursery rhymes. I would do riffs on them and make them jazzy," JoJo remembers. She also taught herself to interpret music at a young age.
Her first break was during a CBS-TV's Kids Say the Darndest Things On The Road In Boston audition that left everyone speechless. She performed Aretha Franklin’s ‘Respect’ which lead to a phone call from Oprah asking her to appear on the show. "When it came to performing, I just had no fear," says JoJo.
