Anyone who has read any of my reviews in the past will notice a clear personality defect emerging. I like the high life of top notch restaurants, but crave the security that being in charge of my financial destiny brings. Like the white stripes once wrote 'the two sides of my brain need to have a meeting'.
And so it was Head 2 that I was wearing the day I picked up 'How to retire 10 yearsearly'. I have to fly a fair bit for my job, not for much longer though, my pregnant stomach is becoming more and more noticeable and then my evil boss will no longer be able to send me away?ha-ha!!! Anyway I was at City airport in London, home of the apprentice reject, the blackberry addict and the if I talk loudly enough into my blue tooth someone will surely realise my importance deluded fools.

You know how different smells remind you of things? As I spray the liquid onto my naked skin, the scent rises to my nose buds, swirling in my head; I have visions of fumbled kisses on the dance floor of a teenage disco back in 1988! Belinda Carlisle booming from the speakers, high heeled stilettos, massively oversized hooped earrings and hideous curly perms!
All the boys were wearing Brut and the girls wore Poison. I could never afford the "real" stuff until I started work, but the local chemist sold a more affordable option - imitation bottles at £2.99.
As the years went by my mates seemed to progress to newer and more modern aromas. Maybe I was boring or stuck in my ways or maybe it was "better the devil you know"? I remained faithful to Poison and on occasions still wear the original scent now.

PoisonIdea are the true Kings of Punk, throughout their long history they have produced some of punk rocks finest moments ever as well as living a highly degenerate and completely self destructive lifestyle.
The lifestyle has paid a heavy cost on the band with founding member and guitarist Pig Champion (real name Tom Roberts) having turned into a Syd Barrett-esque type character, Pig is no longer well enough to tour but is still writing and recording with the Band as Jerry A (Vocals) said "I am just glad that he is still alive". I concur with Jerry on that one.
I had the great pleasure to meet Jerry and the rest of the band on their first European tour for 10 years, last year. What a band, How many bands would start of a tour by taking requests from the audience?, when I saw them almost a month later in Sheffield they remembered ...
