Early Years Vol.1 - Marilyn Manson

Advantages: Introduction to early work, good interview
Disadvantages: Not put together well, unofficial mess.

...and the fact that the songs are named wrong just proves it. The highlights of this album have to be Tracks 1 and the interview. However, i find it difficult to list highlights because every song that Mr.Manson has recorded i am a huge fan of. This is a great album to sample his earlier music as it contains songs from a couple early albums whilst they were called "Marilyn Manson and the spooky kids" The songs, although different to those listed, are still a valuable addition to your Marilyn Manson cd collection. However this cd is only worth purchasing if you actually have a collection. If you are looking for an introduction to his work this is not the place to start. conclusion To conclude ,i am happy with the fact that i own this cd and that i have one more to add to my collection. ...I have been a marilyn manson fan for many years. Even back when the band was titled marilyn manson and the spooky kids. I love all his music but i think this is the best album up to date. Includes many great songs especially 'disposible teens'. I think many of us will be able to relate to this song. I would recommend that everyone should buy this album. You will defiently enjoy it, even if you previously werent a manson fan. It has his newest work on it, and pulls together a lot of different genres. ...People', which everyone has heard (well, they should of). Apart from these he has also been part of the soundtracks of Dracula 2000, Valentine and Spawn, all horror films, so he must have something there!! Live, you have to see to believe. I saw him at Reading Festival a few years ago. I didn't actually go to see him, Metallica were headlining. If I remember rightly there were a few arguements about who would be playing before Metallica, either Terrorvision or Marilyn Manson. Marilyn Manson got the spot and I think Terrorvision were a little annoyed, they didn't play for long anyway.
