...Dragonforce, Long haired boys,known for their killing guitar solos,effects,explosive drums are back with their sophomore 'Sonic Firestorm' after their 2003's moderate success of album 'Valley of Damned' Sonic Firestorm is actually a great album. They've kept their speed metal genre online in this album too,there are pretty cool tracks,like always their representative music,lightining fast guitars and earthshaking drums followed by ZP's powerful raw vocals creates a huge splash in listener's mind.Sonic Firestorm is a perfect example of extreme speed metal but it isn't really a paragon,it's adequate and original though. Herman-Li's lightining fast solos and Zp's powerful vocals has given their music a concrete shape! Dragonforce became the band whose song was downloaded most in Mp3.com which is fair enough and must explain that they play... Read review

Advantages: Some Brilliant Songs, nice long album

...The first thing with Coldplay is that they are getting better and better with every album from the early Safety EP to X&Y. 13 songs, and at least 10 are brillant. Unless other albums around, this album will be the year's best seller. Coldplay has moved up the indie band list, including a sample of Computer Love by Kraftwerk on Talk. If I had to pick one song to play before I die from this album, than it would be Talk. Will X&Y break the top 10 in the Billboard 200? How long will X&Y stay on top of the Uk chart? Will it become the fastest selling album, leepfroging Be Here Now in the Uk? I will say, yes to all these questions. If you like Indie music, then buy X&Y, it's worth the investment. The cover and inlay are simple but work well for the album.... Read review

Advantages: A range of Ballads done at an almighty scale

...Coldplay return with their third and one of the most highly anticipated new albums this year and it certainly delivers at an epic scale..... Songs like the Talk and Square One brim with the underated Jonny Buckland's guitar riffs. Along with A Message and the 2nd amazing single to be released Fix You see Coldplay setting new standards in their music, the melodies and harmonies culminating in an album of indelible depth. The 1st single to be taken from X&Y is Speed of Sound which coaxes a sense of understanding, while the melancholy refrains of What If and the tender strains of title track X & Y give it a tempestuous edge with a gentler, romantic feel... The arrangements venture into new ground, uncharted territory yet reassuring. X & Y is a prime example that rock can be intimate and assuaging, by reaching deep into the soul... Read review
