Enya - One talented woman!
Advantages: -ethereal haunting melodies, strong vocal talent Disadvantages: -
...the name then stuck.
Only time- The Collection contains 51 of Enya's songs, some in Gaelic, some in Latin, and others in English. It comes in a rather swanky purple velvet covered case, which houses 4 CD's as well as a thick booklet containing photographs, lyrics, and Enya’s own commentary in her music. Still working with Nicky Ryan, who produces and manages her, and his wife Roma, writer, poetess, and lyricist, without whom, Enya has stated, Enya ... ...letters, beneath which the words, only time the collection are written.
Inside, is a shiny piece of purple paper listing all the songs and letting you know which CD's they are on. Since the song titles are not listed either on the CDs or the case, this bit of a paper is important, so it's perhaps a shame that rather than being loose, it wasn't included in the glossy photograph and lyric booklet attached to the case.
The glossy 48 page booklet, ...

A voice for a night for two ;)
Advantages: stylish performance, consistent through all tracks Disadvantages: lots of covers (but that's what Michael does)
...It Is sounds like blues, it's just like milder version of SRV with piano instead of guitar, but it still sound consistent with the rest of the tracks, bringing freshness to this jazzy climate. Song For You is definitely a highlight of this CD with Chris Botti, an established trumpeter, playing nice, atmospheric passages through this track. Classic Frank Sinatra's interpretation of this tune needs no introduction, because I've Got You Under My ... ...his way with elegance and a touch. Stevie Wonder's You And I closes the album with gentle sounds of piano and orchestra. There are two bonus tracks Dream a Little Dream and Mack the Knife appearing on this CD. Well, brought together this CD is a very good choice for romantic night with your partner, as I said before, but if you want to listen to it in a car you might find youself driving off road sometimes. enjoy listening! ...

Timeless Voice
Advantages: Outstanding singing, some excellent instrumental and vocal arrangements Disadvantages: Bland production in places
Michael Bublé is a man who started his career ostensibly giving the impression he was stuck in the past but who has become a global superstar by cleverly mining the archives of popular standards and giving them a new, if not always modern, twist. He has, however, always ensured his albums contained at least one radio friendly, middle of the road pop song to help "sell" his albums, and you would have to have been living in a cave to be unfamiliar ... ...born in British Columbia, Canada, in 1975. His vocal talent became apparent in his teens but it wasn't until a chance meeting with David Foster, the legendary American music producer, at a wedding where he was performing, that he got his big break. Foster signed Bublé to his record label and the rest, as they say, is history. "Crazy Love" is Bublé's fourth studio album, and as ever, is made up mainly of cover versions given the Bublé makeover, with ...

Bringing Classical Music to the Masses!
Advantages: High standard of playing and well-chosen tracks Disadvantages: The underwhelming inclusion of 'Feeling Good'
...twist is not new. Before Escala there emerged artists like Vanessa Mae and a strikingly similar ensemble 'Bond'. Nevertheless, this group were as finalists on the TV programme 'Britain's Got Talent' in 2008 and it was refreshing to see some talented instrumentalists on the show rather than the usual singer, dancer or novelty act. Escala are a string quartet of young women from London with two violinists, a violist (viola) and a cellist. They put ... ...beautiful, playing dramatic and beautiful music. And whilst I prefer to watch them perform, this album was a pleasant surprise... *~HIGHLIGHTS OF THE ALBUM~* I'm a huge fan of classical music and definitely approve of the contemporary style that many instrumentalists are adopting and here are some of my favourite tracks from the album: ~Requiem for a Tower - This is a commanding piece of music that, when adopted as the theme tune for something, ...

SEVEN FALLS: Nothing is Worth More Than This Day
Advantages: price, artist community, music Disadvantages: doesn't contain an in-depth booklet
...New Age reviewer Bill Binkelman professed, "It reminds me of how good electronic keyboard music can still be when it's written and performed by someone who knows what he's doing." In Seven Falls, Styler absolutely knows what he's doing; enjoy this music any time of day or evening. ...
