...I was introduced to a new kind of music, one that I previously would have thought of as classical or pictured a hippy, chanting away to. So impressed I went and bought the CD album myself. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I have continued to listen to this CD regularly. I don't often get a chance to relax now with four children however as it is quite a lively album, it is also very good to play at a slightly louder than normal volume. I do this when doing I'm doing housework or ironing ...

Advantages: Soothing compositions. Early taste of Enya's talent Disadvantages: Now sounding slightly dated.
...on this album are The Celts, I Want Tomorrow (with a bizarre electric guitar solo half way through), Fairytale, March of the Celts and Boadicea. This album laid the foundations for a hugely succesful career and let us know just how talented she is. Die hard Enya fans will know that there is actually two versions of this album available. Liquid Mind is the creation of former 'Missing Persons' keyboardist Chuck Wild. Following his time in the group he moved on to music production and worked with many notable muscians during the late 80s and early 90s. Wild says that he originally wrote the Liquid Mind music to help himslef and close family to cope with their stressful lives. This relaxing series is now on its 8th album and 'Liquid Mind III: Balance' is a definate highlight of the ... ...are all there in this album: slow rhythmless pieces, slow chord progressions and wonderful drifting synthersizers. The whole album has an overall postive feel to it that will help even the most stressed of people to chill out at the end of the day and even the most sleepless to get a good nights sleep.

Advantages: Good at what it does. Disadvantages: Not quite as developed as the other albums in the series
...there in this, the second Liquid Mind album, from Chuck Wild. The premise of Slow World is basically the same as the other albums in the series. Long slow compositions to help people unwind at the end of a stressful day. However, unlike in the previous album, and the many that followed, this album seems to be less developed. The music has a slightly darker feel to it and doesn't come close to the spacey, positive feel of Ambience Minimus. The three ... ...the case on more recent Liquid Mind releases.
If you are just getting into Liquid Mind then this is not a good place to start. For this may I suggest the wonderful 'Ambience Minimus'. This album is for the die hard fans that feel they have to own every album by a certain artist and that is admittedly why I bought it. ...
