...is a traditional hymn that Camilla performs wonderfully, recently you may have also heard Faryl Smith singing this on her sophmore album (as well as her debut) Wonderland and while both versions are beautiful, I found Camilla’s more pleasing. It could be because I’m more of a Camilla fan to be honest, but it is…pretty darn amazing! I Can’t Help Falling In Love is a song I’d only heard once before, I’d heard Mark Owen sing it on youtube and really ... ...lovely. Most people will know Camilla for this track which is good because it shows her talents very well. I had no idea what to expect with Rain, I’d never heard of it before and sadly google didn’t help me much so I listened with great curiosity. I LOVED it. It’s so bright and joyful, perfect to listen to in the springtime I think. It just conjures up lovely imagery, I can see a lovely garden and fairies, it would be perfect for a family movie ...
Advantages: Beautifully relaxing music Disadvantages: None
...albums (including some duets). Una Mattina is his seventh album, and contains all new tracks. 'Una Mattina' translates as 'one morning' and the music is as simple as this title. It is another of his solo piano albums, although it does feature the cello in some tracks. It flows where you expect it to, although not in a boring way. The music ripples along, and the cello brings real emotion in certain tracks. The subtle variations in the music and tempo ... ...a suite of pieces. The music is very calming and relaxing, and evokes feelings of peace and tranquility. It is suitable as background music, or simply to listen and relax to.
A few people might recognise one of the tracks, Nuvole Bianche from a TV advert for Baci chocolates, used at Christmas time last year. This and 'Ora' are my favourite tracks, although 'A Fuoco' featuring cello makes a close second. The cello tracks (played by Marco Decimo) ...
Advantages: Makes you feel alive Disadvantages: Can leave you feeling a bit drained after going through so many emotions that Ludovico provokes.
When listening to Ludovico Einaudi's Le Onde my emotions were flung around like a child on a roller coaster ride. Just as you think your spirit could go no higher your inner soul is tossed out like a wave being thrashed against the rocks by the sea. Calmly your mind settles as the play begins to mellow gently the music deepens and as I gently breath a breath into my lungs my mind becomes full of elation. From within Ludovico's mind’s eye to his fingers ...
Advantages: Highly entertaining, brilliant music to listen to Disadvantages: Easily Confused With "Red Hot Chilli Peppers"!!!
What Is It?
"Bagrock To The Masses" is the second album by the highly successful Scottish band The Red Hot Chilli Pipers. This CD is unlike any other where it has a mix of about 3 different music genres, into one. Possibly the most unique band I have ever heard of! About The Band
I first heard of the band on Graham Nortons show "When Will I Be Famous" on BBC 1. The band won, probibly because they are so unique and I wasn't surprised, ... ...8 musicians all playing either bagpipes, drums or guitar in away that has really never been played before. They are all highly qualified however, the Snare Drum player won 'Young Traditional Musician of the Year' and most of the band are graduates from the Royal Scottish Academy Of Music.
HRH The Princess Royal, Ewan McGregor, Phil Collins and The Darkness are known to be big fans of the band, Ewan MacGregor even booking them for his Burns Night ...

...a Minimalist.
"In general I don't like definitions, but 'Minimalist' is a term that means elegance and openness, so I would prefer to be called a Minimalist than something else." -Ludovico Einaudi
And 'elegance and openness' is the best way to describe the music that is on this CD. The inside of the inlay of the CD tells that one time the composer was driving through part of Africa when a piece of music came on the radio. The music told the story ... ...or a loved one. I am not at all sure what this has got to do with the music on the CD - perhaps this piece of the music and the story behind it gave inspiration for the music, but I'm not sure about that.
Tracks on this CD include:
1. Melodia Africana I
2. I Due Fiumi
3. In Un'altra Vita
4. Melodia Africana II
5. Stella Del Mattino
6. I Giorni
7. Samba
8. Melodia Africana III
9. La Nascita Delle Cose Segrete
