Advantages: Everything is their Disadvantages: It may make your Local go bust.
I first heard this CD in a friends house at a party and i remember asking if it was one he made himself, because of all the different tracks. He told me he had bought it at the local supermarket. The next day i went and bught myself a copy for £5. I love this CD, i think it has every song that you would want to hear at the pub without having to go to the pub. With tracks like Daisy Bell, Shine on Harvest Moon and Im looking over a four leaf clover ...
Advantages: Reminds you of christmas as a child and helps recreate a family christmas atmosphere Disadvantages: Absoultely none
I bough this CD a few years ago now for my daughter and must admit it is a really festive CD. The songs are all ones that you will recongnise and love and so will your children over the years.
To me Christmas is all about children and the songs odnthis CD bring that home to you. It's true christmas Carols and not these hyped up pop versions.
We play this every christmas now and it is one of the highlights for my daughter. She knows christmas is ... ...and she even knows the words to some of the songs.
Guaranteed to get you in the spirit of things and will be the best thing you could spen your money on this year. CD's are vailable from £3-£5 from e-bay etc.

Advantages: Good background listening Disadvantages: Odd mixture of music on the Uplifting disc
...I do often have Classic FM on the radio at home and recently bought their 2 CD set, Voices 2008. This is a compilation containing a selection of vocal pieces from the worlds of choral music and opera. There are pieces in this collection which you would immediately recognise on hearing them, even if their names are not familiar. In the set is a CD of relaxing pieces and a CD of uplifting pieces, so you have the choice of which best suits your mood. ... ...John Brunning is one of Classic FM's own presenters. He composed this short piece, which is sung on the CD by All Angels. I would describe it as a sweet piece, but it doesn't really stick in my mind after I've heard it. It's pleasant enough to hear in the background though.
4 Canteloube - 'Bailero'. Canteloube took his inspiration from the traditional folk songs of the Auvergne region of France where he was born. He arranged these songs for orchestra ...

Advantages: Very toned guitar riffs with loads of effects makes it spectacular Disadvantages: Can be a-bit repeatative at parts
Steve vai is a World famous guitarist. He is American and has played guitar since he was a kidso it goes without saying that he is great at what he does.
His playing takes many different tones but they are all designed to capture the listeners emotions. This CD has a very rock feel to it but it captures lots of emotions from Love to sorrow.
Steve has been in many bands since he was a kid. This is his most recent album with his band"steve Vai"
... ...Guitar: Dave Weiner Drums: Jeremy Colson
The band really work together producing one of the best linups yet.
This CD is great. Its like a guitar solo as a song a purely great peice of musical talent and a must have for all guitar players.
The starting song "building the Church" is a great opener and makes you want to keep listening and it only gets better as the crunchy guitsr tones meet the more exicting whamy bar action.
There is just so much ...
